Terms Of Service

  1. General

    By booking a service with CRU Cleaning, you agree to comply with and be bound by the terms and conditions set forth in this document. These terms apply to all users, including but not limited to: customers, independent contractors, and vendors.
  2. Services

    CRU Cleaning provides house cleaning services using independent contractors. All services are subject to availability and may be changed or discontinued at our discretion. We offer routine cleaning, deep cleaning, and move-in/move-out cleaning for residential properties, covering the interior of homes and excluding garages, patios, and other exterior areas.
  3. Booking and Payment

    Customers can book cleaning services through our online platform. A hold will be placed on the customer's credit card to secure the booking, but the card will only be charged once the service is completed. The total provided during booking is an estimate and may be subject to change based on the actual condition of the home.
  4. Cancellation and Rescheduling

    Customers can reschedule or cancel their bookings free of charge up to 48 hours before the original appointment. Cancellations within 48 hours of the booking may be subject to a 'Late Cancellation Fee', while canceling within 24 hours is non-refundable. To reschedule or cancel, customers can log in to their account or contact our customer support team.
  5. Adjustments to Estimates

    CRU Cleaning reserves the right to adjust estimates upon seeing the home after booking. If any adjustments are necessary, the customer will be notified and provided with the updated pricing before the service begins.
  6. Scope of Cleaning Services

    CRU Cleaning provides professional cleaning services for residential properties, including standard cleaning, deep cleaning, and move-in/move-out cleaning. Our services cover the interior of homes and exclude garages, patios, and other exterior areas.
  7. Items and Areas We Do Not Clean

    To ensure the safety and well-being of our cleaners, there are specific items and areas that we do not clean under any circumstances:

    i. Home Exteriors: We do not offer exterior cleaning services, as they require heavy-duty equipment and involve additional safety concerns.

    ii. Hazardous Materials: Our cleaners are not equipped to handle chemical or biological waste, including but not limited to bodily fluids, animal feces, and toxic substances. If you require assistance with such materials, please contact a specialized service provider.

    iii. Heavy Objects: Our cleaners cannot lift objects weighing more than 30 pounds. If you need cleaning behind large appliances or furniture, please arrange for these items to be moved prior to the cleaner's arrival.

    iv. Weapons and Firearms: For the safety of our cleaners, please ensure that all weapons and firearms are securely stored and not accessible during the cleaning service.
  8. Pets and Animals

    We kindly request that all pets and animals be either out of the house or securely confined during the cleaning service. This helps to ensure the safety of our cleaners and allows them to provide the most efficient service possible.
  9. Liability

    CRU CLEANING LLC will not be held liable for any damages, loss, or injury resulting from the use of our services, including those caused by our independent contractors. Customers are responsible for providing a safe working environment for our independent contractors.
  10. Governing Law

    These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of Oregon. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Oregon.
  11. Amendments

    CRU CLEANING LLC reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. It is the customer's responsibility to review the terms periodically for any changes.
